This idea came to me during a very dark period in my life. I felt betrayed, lonely, hurt, but the worst thing was losing my hope. I was sitting on the floor in complete darkness and crying, thinking that the only good thing in my life was gone. But when I looked out of the window, it was snowing. I got up, wiped my tears away and just looked at the snow for a long hour. The snowflakes were dancing in the moonlight, and they never stopped. They kept dancing like it was their favorite thing to do, they danced until the very end. That’s when I knew I wasn’t done.

You’re probably wondering what the heck I’m talking about. The idea came to me when I was watching the snow, and at first I thought it was crazy, even impossible. But my dear friend Shirley reminded me that if there was someone who could do it, it was me. So, I’m doing it.

It’s called Destiel Documentary and it’s about us, the Destiel fandom. I think it’s about time we get some recognition, dismiss some rumors, and show the insider’s view. In addition to that, it would also be a great Christmas present to all of us, because let’s be honest, we need it.

It’s completely free, I’m doing this of my own free will, all I’m asking for is your support and help. If you would like to participate and are willing to show your face to the entire fandom, please continue reading!

I’ll need two types of videos.

1) Q&A video.
Basically, all you have to do is sit in front of your camera and answer some questions. It’s not difficult, but again, you’ll have to be okay with the whole fandom seeing your face. I’ll also need the transcript of your speech. Please understand this necessity, because we’re all from different countries and all have different accents. Of course the video must be in English. Now, for the questions:

• What does shipping mean to you? What does OTP/ship mean to you?
• When did you start shipping Destiel, which episode sealed the deal?
• Why do you ship Destiel?
• What does Destiel mean to you? (Personal experiences, stories)
• How do you see the Destiel fandom?
• What would you like to happen to Dean and Cas in the future?

You don’t have to answer all of these questions in order to send a video, but your video must be 5-15 minutes long.

2) Extras
I’ll need some extra footage from you in order to make our video more interesting.

• You saying: I am a Destiel fan.
• You saying: (JUST the name of your country).
• You in front of the famous sights of your country (*not necessary, but would be a nice addition).
• Whatever else you would like to shoot related to Destiel.

The first two are required if you’re making a Q&A video. BUT! You can also send only extras without making a Q&A video.  (5+ minutes long.)

The quality of your video must be :

• 720p or 1080p.
• Bright, clear and not shaky (at least not too much).

What to send with your email:

• Your name or whatever you want to be called if you’re doing the Q&A
• A list of names of the people participating if there’s more than two
• Transcript of your speech
• Links to your social media (*not necessary)
• Send your video to destieldocumentary@hotmail.com until December 5th.
